Pratik & Cynthia
Different languages, same sense of humour, and a love that never needed translation.
A story of two cultures, endless laughter, and understanding that goes beyond words.

Lost in Translation, Found in Love
Pratik and Cynthia have the kind of bond that makes you smile from behind the camera.
A Maharashtrian and a Taiwanese, two cultures, two languages and somehow, absolutely no language barrier when it comes to being silly together.
Pratik, the studious one, has a very convincing “serious man” reputation until Cynthia walks in. Then suddenly, the syllabus is gone, the maturity is missing, and the two are happily in their own little universe.
While filming them, we taught Cynthia a few Marathi words. She returned the favour with a few Taiwanese ones. Our vocabulary improved, our pronunciation… is still under review.
But somewhere between “How do you say that?” and “Wait, did I say it right?”, we watched two people who didn’t need translations to understand each other.
Different languages, same nonsense. And somehow, that’s exactly what made their love so beautiful.
